This house in Dragalevtsi, Sofia is designed in calm and modest spirit, paying attention to natural materials and contemporary principles.Uniformly smooth surfaces of concrete, light timber and white, give a scandinavian touch, while moderate colours in walls, textile and furniture make some vivid palette. The staircase is an accent with sculpture-style qualities. The railway is a solid black volume, that holds the floating wooden steps like spine to the bedrooms on the second floor.
