Zoya Shop Aksakov str.
In the centre of Sofia city is located the first of ZoyaBg’s organic stores, opened in the year 2007.
The space is small and it was necessary to make adjustments to the functional plan and refreshment of the design.
The result of the renovation is a space that is true to its Zoya’s origins and, at the same time, unequivocally contemporary in its design.
The interior layout was modified, by rearanging the bar and shelves into two simple lines on both sides of the space and also by opening up holes in the facade to maximise the view and light.
Some of the shop’s original elements, such as the raw- wooden furniture, were reinterpreted to preserve the simplistic and natural character. These rustic features interact with the more modern cement, steel and ceramic components. The result is an undoubtedly contemporary design that remains faithful to the austere character of the ZoyaBg brand.
